About Us
Courtney Consultancy provides HR, employment law & recruitment support to North West based businesses, and was established in early 2007 by Elaine Courtney.
The company has enjoyed great success to date, and plans to make its mark in 2010.
In the early stages, the company was set up as a recruitment agency, and at that time was known as Courtney Recruitment. However, after just a few months, Elaine took the decision to broaden the scope of services she offered, and in doing so, renamed the company Courtney Consultancy.
No longer a recruitment agency, Elaine completely changed the nature of the business and now offers a more supportive HR & recruitment solution, including helping clients when recruiting by assisting with workforce planning, creating job descriptions, person specifications, job advertisements and more, she would then recruit the member of staff needed, and would then continue on by dealing with offering the role, creating a contract of employment and personnel file containing all relevant documentation, and would take care of every detail, through to the day the person started in the new role. Courtney Consultancy was at this time providing an outsourced HR solution.
Now, after a vast amount of studying and gaining of qualifications in recent years, Elaine and her consultants are able to provide all of the HR & recruitment support detailed on the website, and there are plans to develop this further.
Courtney Consultancy, currently a team of 5 is going from strength to strength and is due to recruit another employee in the near future.
The company has experts with each of the key services areas:
Elaine Courtney, dealing with HR, employment law, recruitment & business development;
Emma Osbaldeston looks after Employment Law support;
Tracey Hopkins takes care of HR support;
Eddy Clarke is our in house recruitment expert & also deals with business development;
And Jess McGuirk provides our administrative support function
The company adheres to the CIPD – Chartered Institute of Personnel & Developments Standards of Professional Conduct. Click for more information
